DURHAM UNIVERSITY MIXED LACROSSE CLUB

Saturday 25th October marked the first match of the 2014/2015 season for Durham Mixed Lacrosse. It was an early start, but the cold winds of Edinburgh meant we were ready and awake by the time play started at 12! We got off to an impressive start, scoring 3 goals in the first 15 minutes. However, Edinburgh proved to be a very strong side and by the time it was half time we were behind. We did well to equal them in the second half but by the time the game ended we were unfortunately remained behind.

Despite the loss the whole team played amazingly, especially as some of the members had only been playing for 3 weeks! Special mentions go to our Man and Woman of the match Neal Pabari and Nicole Sharp for very strong defence and team playing and also our top scorer Adam Ford who made some truly spectacular goals! 

March 2014

Durham took two teams to Edinburgh to compete in the MacRobert Annual Tournament, held at the Peffermill playing fields, in March. We had a fun and successful tournament, with our teams finishing 4th and 5th out of eight.
